A character model for use in a personal project I am working on. The character is a low-ish poly astronaut, with exaggerated cartoony proportions and bright colors. The Astronaut was modeled and unwrapped in Autodesk Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and then lit and rendered in Unity's Universal Render Pipeline, using customized shaders based off of Youtuber Ned Makes Games' toon shader tutorial (link to his channel is below).
The general design of the character was done by yours truly. The aesthetic of the design, namely the helmet, was inspired by SEGA's Spiral Knights, which I played a lot as a child.
